AXIS#.IL.COGCOMP.AUTOSIZE

Description

This keyword turns on the cogging compensation table optimizer.

Generally a higher resolution cogging table is not beneficial past a certain size. This is because a higher resolution table allows noise to affect the table.

When autosize is enabled, as soon as the cogging compensation teach is started, the cogging table will be sized based on the amount of travel the teach move covers.

A table size of 256 points per mechanical rev (or per AXIS#.MOTOR.PITCH in the case of linear motors) will be used.

If for some reason this is not ideal for your application, please disable autosize and manually size the cogging table before performing the teach move.
